Effective automatic verification
The JagSeis system is demonstrably versatile, effective and capable of handling the verification of large amounts of QC data. Daily QC reports are routinely generated, with minimal interaction, for surveying/navigation, and acquisition for vibrator, airgun and dynamite-sourced operations.
All production statistics are automatically verified and any discrepancies noted are immediately flagged for correction. Client management is able to review the progress of all phases of a given project via the JagSeis dashboard from anywhere in the world where Internet access is available.
The dashboard can be customized or configured by the user to display items of interest to each individual user. The system has the resources to manage a project’s entire QC process from planning to completion.
Operational data capture
Handheld GPS units with cameras are capable of full integration to add even more value to seismic line inspections and restoration activities. The JagSeis system’s ability to record the time-stamped locations of various inspections, such as fly camps and geophone plants, and to generate maps as proof of legal compliance of various safety, health and environmental regulations for government reports, are welcome benefits to explorationists.
The JagSeis Contract Management or Cost Module for clients provides detailed definition of a seismic project’s multiple contracts and various costs, milestones, unit prices and invoicing periods comparing details on AFE expenses to actual field costs and final invoices.
Module example: HSE marine deployment
A marine project using JagSeis software’s HSE module collected, stored and analyzed HSE data so that contractor’s safety, health and environmental activities could be tracked and managed. KPIs were generated from “real” data, to eliminate unknowns.
The JagSeis HSE module is based on pre-configured OGP, IAGC and client standards. It can uniquely display and dynamically track results in real time for continuous risk control. Report formats in the HSE module are easily customized to the client’s needs, prior to start of operations.
Response-oriented, module-specific automatic alarms are typically set for specific thresholds for Elements, Chapters and Units of the JagSeis HSE module. Within the system, HSE-MS performance can be reviewed and monitored dynamically and securely online using the dashboard; or reports can be received on mobile devices anywhere in the world.
